Assigning your condo.

If you have a pre-construction property that you need to resell, or are interested in buying pre-construction units that have already sold, than you’re looking at an assignment sale. These sales occur because a pre-construction unit that has already been bought needs to be sold before the original sale closes. This is not the same as a typical resale property and requires some expertise, so be sure to get in touch with a realtor who has experience in assignment sales.

If you are considering assigning your property, reach out and we can discuss the process and get a comprehensive valuation of your property.

If you’re considering buying pre-construction property to assign in the future, let us know! There is a big difference in the kind of unit you’d like to reassign and the kind of unit you’d like to rent to a tenant.

Marketing your
assignment condo.

Due to the nature of assignment sales, listing via traditional channels like MLS is not always possible. This means finding buyers have become extremely challenging. To reach those potential buyers, we turn to private direct marketing through our agent networks and social media marketing. With our well established and expanding network, we are able to maximize your listings exposure to potential buyers resulting in a faster sale and higher sale price.

Broker with experience

Most agents have never done assignment sales and the ones who have usually don’t like doing them. They are complex, can be challenging, and require a host of knowledge and experience that most realtors will simply not have. I began my career in finance and quickly moved into assignment sales when I saw the value they held for homeowners and investors.
